Service Description
Gather by Jules - Introduction to Eco-Printing (Dirty Pot) Method Come and join Juliet for a day learning about eco-printing, creating a new life for an item of your old clothing, producing images, marks & colour on vintage wool, making eco-printed paper for your crafting use. In this introductory course you will learn about the eco-printing process from selecting & preparing fabrics, setting up & using the ‘dirty pot’, collecting & selecting leaves for printing, placing them on the fabric, and treating the fabric/ paper to ensure lasting wonderful prints. Juliet will lead you through a step by step, methodical but fun process to produce beautiful results. A range of other fabrics will also available (at an additional cost) silk scarves, linen tote bags & wool scarfs, subject to availability. What to bring with you:- Please wear old clothes and/ or an apron, bring rubber gloves if you have them, onion skins, rose & blackberry leaves would be useful. Please bring a packed lunch, hot/ cold drinks & cake will be provided. When printing an item of your own clothing, they must be pure cotton, linen, wool or silk, Juliet will provide instructions on preparing your item of clothing once your booking has been made. Christmas Gift Certificates are available which consist of a beautiful eco-printed embellished card with an eco-printed certificate enclosed.




Cancellation Policy
.All day courses at Mud and Wool are for 16 and above.• under 18 parental permissions will be needed • The f course fee is to be made at the time of booking• A cancellation made 4 weeks or more prior to the start of the course will be refunded minus an admin fee of £20• A cancellation made with less than 4 weeks before the start of the course is non-refundable .• Mud and Wool reserve the right to cancel the course if our minimum numbers are not reached by 2 weeks before the start of the course or if instructed by Government Legislation or illness. If we cancel the course full payment will be refunded to you. We would advise you to take out insurance against loss of fees through illness or personal accident.It is your responsibility to fill in any allergies, food intolerances , relevant medical conditions on the booking form .Parking at Mud and Wool is at the owner's risk. Any booking made on any course signifies your agreement to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
