Summer Solstice Celebration

at Mud and Wool

June 20 th  from 2pm

Free Community Event

Please join us on Saturday afternoon and evening for an open celebration of the Summer Solstice, including a shared meal.

New to Our Summer Solstice Gatherings?

Our solstice celebrations are relaxed, informal, and community-led. There’s no strict schedule—just a gathering of people sharing food, creativity, ideas, skills, and good company.

Feel free to join in with activities, offer something yourself, or simply come along and enjoy being part of the day. The event is all about sharing the things that bring us joy, whether that's painting, music, poetry, a discussion about something you're passionate about, or a skill you'd like to share.

We have a large community blackboard where people can add activities, workshops, discussions, or performances they'd like to offer. It's also a great way to see what's happening throughout the day and decide what you'd like to join in with.

Whether you know lots of people or no one at all, you'll find a warm welcome waiting for you.

Food and Drink… new Bar at Mud and Wool

Please bring a dish to share for dinner , along with your own plate, cutlery, and glass if possible. Feel free to bring any musical instruments too.

This year we'll be running a simple, affordable bar at Mud and Wool, serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Any profits will go directly towards supporting future community events.

Cash and card payments accepted.

Offerings

We warmly welcome offerings of workshops, discussions, music, crafts, storytelling, movement sessions, and other activities. Ones that will be definitely happening are as follows with lots of others happening but being finalised .
