Learn how to make your own Drum Lampshade
25 cm by 21 cm .
(If you would like to make a larger lampshade 30 cm diameter by 21cm height it will be £5 extra)
This is a day workshop . The participants piece together fabric guided by their tutor , artist Harriet Chapman. The fabrics are then patch worked together to cover the lampshade that can be hung or used for a standard lamp.

The morning is spent choosing the fabrics and sewing them together, using applique with a sewing machine or hand sewing, finishing the sewing after lunch as well as embellishing to decorate. The last two hours are spent making up the lampshade.
