Our vision is to promote creativity and support emerging or established artists and creatives, giving them the time and space to develop their work in a beautiful rural setting.

Each residency can be for one artist or two (shared accommodation with separate rooms) for 4 weeks

Cost for fuel and electricity only (total for 4 weeks)

For 1 artist £560

For 2 artists sharing £300 each (If at the end of your residency the amount of fuel used is less than this cost we will refund you the difference)

At the end of the residency

We ask that a small, informal presentation is given to local people about the work that you have done, followed by a communal meal.

In addition, that you leave something from your time at Mud and Wool, such as a piece of art, an installation on the land, or a piece of writing.

If relevant to your work, collaboration with Adam (ceramicist) and/or Jo (textile artist) is an option
Accommodation
Accommodation is in a 2 bedroom Cottage at Mud and Wool

The space can be for one artist, or shared by two
King size or Super King Sized Beds with Ensuite Bathrooms
1 bedroom has a desk
Open Plan living/kitchen area which will be used as a creative space
Open-sided large barn and converted barn/studio space also can be used
14 acres with outstanding views
Wonderful night skies with little light pollution
Less than 20 mins to the coast and the Cambrian Mountains
Own transport would be helpful but not essential
